PSL 10: David Warner also available for the event, registered for the draft

The registration of foreign players for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is underway, with aggressive former Australian batsman David Warner and Kiwi speed star Adam Milne also registering for the draft.

According to Dawn News, Australia’s aggressive batsman and big sixer Chris Lynn will also be the focus of teams’ attention in the PSL draft.

In addition, West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder is also among the players who have registered.

The availability of the aforementioned players for PSL 10 was announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the league’s social media handles.

After registering for PSL 10, David Warner joined his compatriots Usman Khawaja, Matthew Short, Shaun Abbott and Alex Carey, as well as other players from different countries.

It should be noted that Lahore Qalandars, who have won the event twice, will be the first to select a player in the Players Draft ceremony.

Similarly, the second round will be for Karachi Kings, the third for Quetta Gladiators, and the fourth round for Peshawar Zalmi. The team that played in the final last season, Multan Sultans, will choose their players in fifth place, and defending champions Islamabad United will choose their players in sixth place.

Several big players have already registered for the draft, with the PSL draft set to take place on January 11.

It should be noted that since 2016, Islamabad United has become champions three times, including the inaugural edition of the league (2016), the third (2018) and the final edition (2024).

Apart from this, Lahore Qalandars have won twice in 2022 and 2023, Peshawar Zalmi were the champions of the 2017 edition, Quetta Gladiators won the 2019 edition while Karachi Kings won their first title in 2020, Multan Sultans emerged as the winners in 2021.
